Activities

Guided tours to the area’s main tourist attractions and local happenings are arranged by the Lodge on request.

Tours  may include morning or afternoon game walks or drives as well as night safaris.

Visit visually magnificent sites such as God’s Window, the Pinnacle, Three Rondavels and grass- and wetlands.

This gold diggers town dating from the early 1900’s is a declared museum.  Experience bygone times of gold panning and visit the original pub at the Royal Hotel.

Around Hazyview, Graskop and Sabie you can do the Big Swing and Waterfall Abseiling if you have enough guts!

Whitewater Rafting.  Conquer class 3 and 4 rapids on the mighty Sabie River on a tube or kayak
Quads or two- wheelers through plantation-trails

Caving and Kloofing.  For the more adventurous. Prepare yourself to get dirty and wet doing chamber crawling, rock hopping, river traversing and plunging into breathtaking pools.

Aviation Adventures.  Scenic flights over big game areas, canyons and forests.   Choose between Hot Air Ballooning, Microlight flights and Helicopter flips lasting from 10 to 90 minutes

Shangana and Matsulu  Cutural Villages.  Enjoy traditional beer and food as in the days of Chief Soshangana.  Day or evening safari.

Elephant Safaris.
Walk, feed and experience elephant in their natural habitat.
Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre.  Care for poisoned and injured wild animal like lion, leopard, rhino, serval, eagles, owls and baby animals.  Come see and touch!

Botanical gardens

Chimpanzee Eden. The Jane Goodall Institute is a stone throw from Eco-Eden and day visitors contribute to the rescue of chimpanzees in captivity.

Gold panning.  A highly rewarding activity on your lucky day!

Hiking.  Numerous hiking trails are available from a few hours to 4 day treks through beautiful scenery.

Shopping malls.  The regional capital of Nelspruit now boasts three huge shopping malls and a Casino.
